Scope

This part of GB/T 10001 specifies the public information graphic symbols (hereinafter referred to as graphic symbols) used for signs in tourism and leisure. This part is applicable to public places such as hotels, restaurants, and tourist attractions, as well as means of transportation and service facilities. It is specifically used for location signs, guide signs, plane diagrams, regional function maps, and block guide maps in public information guidance systems. The design of elements is also applicable to publications and other information carriers whose graphic size is larger than 10mm×10mm.
