Scope

This part of GB/T 20501 defines the guidance elements constituting the public information guidance system and the guidance information elements that make up the guidance elements, establishes the general principles to be followed in the design of guidance elements, and specifies the graphic symbols, direction symbols, Requirements for the use of guiding information elements such as text and color, and related size requirements. This part is applicable to the design of guiding elements of the public information guiding system in public places such as civil airports, railway passenger stations, public transportation hubs and stations, shopping places, medical places, sports places, hotels and restaurants, tourist attractions and blocks. This section does not apply to the design of guiding elements in road traffic systems and emergency evacuation systems.
