Scope

This part of GB/T 20501 defines the composition of the block-oriented map, establishes the design principles of the block-oriented map, and specifies the design requirements for information units such as map title, main map, legend, overview map and index. This part is applicable to the design of pedestrian walkways on both sides of the road, pedestrian entrances and exits of traffic facilities, and other public places with relatively concentrated pedestrians and high guidance requirements, as well as block guidance maps in areas composed of several streets.
