Scope: This part of GB/T 20501 specifies the guidance signs composed of arrow symbols and graphic symbols, the guidance signs composed of arrow symbols and text, the guidance signs composed of arrow symbols and graphic symbols with auxiliary text, and the guidance signs in the public information guidance system. The design principles and requirements when signs are combined with each other. This part is applicable to the design of guide signs in the public information guide system of public places such as civil airports, railway passenger stations, public transport hubs and stations, shopping places, medical places, sports places, hotels and restaurants, tourist attractions and blocks. This section does not apply to the design of evacuation route signs.
