Scope

This part of GB/T 20501 specifies the design principles and requirements for location signs consisting of graphic symbols, location signs consisting of text, location signs consisting of graphic symbols with auxiliary text, and the combination of location signs in public information guidance systems . This part is applicable to the design of location signs in the public information guidance system of public places such as civil airports, railway passenger stations, public transportation hubs and stations, shopping places, medical places, sports places, hotels and restaurants, tourist attractions and blocks.
