Scope: This standard specifies the environmental conditions, product protection types, technical requirements, test methods, acceptance rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for mechanical products used in dry and hot environments. This standard is applicable to general-purpose mechanical products used in hot and dry climate areas as stipulated in GB4797.1 "Natural Environmental Conditions Temperature and Humidity of Electrical and Electronic Products". The major categories of products include agricultural machinery, internal combustion engines, construction machinery, lifting and transportation machinery, heavy machinery, petrochemical general machinery, electrical products, instruments and meters, machine tool tools and general parts and components.
