Scope: This standard specifies the M value of rod spacing M (_Ri, straddling rod distance M_Re) and W value (public normal of external spline) for cylindrical spur involute splines with a pressure angle of 30° Average length) calculation formula and limit size table. This standard applies to involute splines with a pressure angle of 30° designed and manufactured in accordance with GB/T 3478.1 "Basic tooth profile tolerances for spur involute spline modules".
