Scope
This document specifies the evaluation method for the energy-saving effect of the braking energy recovery system of passenger cars. This document applies to vehicles of category M1 with a maximum design gross mass not exceeding 3500kg with a braking energy recovery system. This document applies to vehicles capable of burning gasoline or diesel, not applicable to hybrid electric vehicles that can be plugged in externally.
