Scope

This document specifies the evaluation method for the energy-saving effect of the shift reminder device for passenger cars. This document is applicable to category M1 vehicles with a maximum design gross mass not exceeding 3500kg with a shift reminder device. This document applies to vehicles capable of burning gasoline or diesel, not applicable to hybrid electric vehicles.
