Scope

This document specifies the evaluation method for the energy-saving effect of automotive air conditioners for passenger cars. This document is applicable to category M1 vehicles with automotive air-conditioning and whose maximum design gross mass does not exceed 3500kg. This document applies to vehicles capable of burning gasoline or diesel, not applicable to hybrid electric vehicles that can be plugged in externally.
