Scope

This document specifies the safety requirements for trenching machines defined in ISO 6165; it specifies all major hazards, hazardous states and hazardous events associated with earth-moving machinery when the earth-moving machinery is used for the purpose specified by the manufacturer or under reasonably foreseeable misuse conditions (see GB/ Appendix A of T25684.1-2021); and specifies the technical measures to eliminate or reduce the risks caused by major hazards, hazardous states or hazardous events during use, operation and maintenance. This document is used in combination with GB/T 25684.1 (specifying the general safety requirements for two or more families of earth-moving machinery). The specific requirements of this document take precedence over the general requirements of GB/T 25684.1. This document does not apply to machines manufactured before the implementation of this document.
