Scope

Together with GB 10395.1, this document specifies the design and manufacture of single-rotor or multi-rotor rotary tedders, rotary tedder rakes and rotary tedder-rakes, including rotary drum rakes operated by a single person. Safety requirements and verification rules for lawn mowers. This document specifies the type of safe operation information that the manufacturer should provide, including residual risks. This document does not apply to the following machines: --- thumbwheel rake; --- parallel rake rake; --- chain or belt rake; --- manual tedder and manual rake Grass machines; --- hay rakes with pick-up devices. For machines designed and manufactured according to the provisions of this document, when the provisions of this document are different from the provisions of GB 10395.1, the provisions of this document take precedence over the provisions of GB 10395.1. This document addresses all significant hazards, hazardous conditions and hazardous events associated with the use of rotary tedders, rotary tedders and rotary tedder-rakes under conditions intended and foreseen by the manufacturer (see Chapter 4), Except for the dangers arising from the following situations: --- Environment, noise; --- Electromagnetic compatibility; --- Vibration; Components, excluding dangers caused by insufficient strength of protective devices; --- Safety and reliability of the control system. Note 1: GB/T 21398 specifies the test methods and acceptance criteria for the electromagnetic compatibility evaluation of all mobile agricultural machinery. Note 2: This document does not include specific requirements related to road traffic regulations (such as lighting, dimensions, speed limit plates).
