Scope

This part specifies the design and manufacture of single or multi-header agricultural tractors that cut crop residues, pastures and small bushes by impact force, with the header installed on a tractor or machine, and with a single cutting element cutting diameter of not less than 1000mm. , safety requirements and verification rules for mounted and semi-mounted large rotary lawn mowers. This standard provides methods to eliminate or reduce hazards during the use of machines and methods that can reasonably foresee hazards caused by operator misuse during normal use and maintenance. This section specifies the type of safe operating information that manufacturers should provide. Note 1: The machine can be used to cut pasture. This section does not specify additional requirements for machines used outside agriculture. This section does not apply to the following machines: 　——GB/T10395.25 involves rotating disc lawn mowers, drum lawn mowers and knife-type lawn mowers for harvesting feed crops; 　——Large rotating cantilever Lawn mowers; 　——Step-by-step electric lawn mowers; 　——Powered lawn mowers covered by GB10395.11. For machines designed and manufactured in accordance with the provisions of this part, when the provisions of this part are different from the provisions of GB10395.1, the provisions of this part shall take precedence over GB10395.1. This section covers all significant hazards, hazardous conditions and hazardous events associated with the use of large rotary lawn mowers under conditions intended and foreseen by the manufacturer. (See Appendix A for a list of major hazards.) Note 2: For the two types of lawn mowers involved in this section (rigid platform large rotary lawn mower and crawler multi-section folding wing large rotary lawn mower), see C.1 for legends. Note 3: This section does not cover lawn mowers. See C.2 for illustrations. This section does not cover environmental hazards, road safety, electromagnetic compatibility, vibration and hazards related to power transmission components. Hazards associated with repair and maintenance by professional service personnel are not involved. Note 4: GB21398 specifies test methods and acceptance criteria for evaluating the electromagnetic compatibility of all mobile agricultural machinery.
