- Scope
- This part of GB/T 30789 gives a method for assessing the degree of spalling by comparing it graphically with the standard and using the definitions specified in ISO 4628-1. ISO 4628-1 defines the evaluation system for the number and size of defects caused by coating aging and the degree of uniform change in appearance, and outlines the general principles of the evaluation system. This rating system applies to defects caused by aging and weathering, and to uniform changes such as color changes (eg yellowing).
