Scope

This part of GB/T 30789 gives the identification system for evaluating the number and size of coating defects and the degree of uniform change in appearance, and outlines the general principles of the entire system. This system is especially suitable for defects and uniformity caused by artificial accelerated aging and natural exposure. Changes, such as color changes, eg: yellowing. Other parts of GB/T 30789 provide some standard pictures or other methods for evaluating some special types of defects, and the evaluation shall be based on the established methods as far as possible. Defects not included in other parts of GB/T 30789 can also be assessed by this part.
