- Scope
- This part of GB/T 30789 gives a method for assessing filiform corrosion by measuring the length L of the longest filament and the length M of the most frequently occurring filament in filiform corrosion caused by scratches. Appendix A of this part illustrates the different levels of the length L of the longest filament and the length M of the most frequently occurring filament in filiform corrosion. The comparison of the test sample with the 12 figures in Appendix A cannot replace the necessary numerical evaluation (method 1 or method 2).
