Scope

This guide stipulates the terms and definitions, guiding ideology and basic principles, general principles, preliminary requirements, direction of reclamation and utilization of dumpsites, pollution prevention and control technical requirements, soil and water conservation technical requirements, technical measures, and later stages for the reclamation of iron ore mine dumps. Management and maintenance, quality control, quality inspection and acceptance, safeguard measures, etc. This guideline applies to iron ore mine dumps, including proposed dumps, dumps under construction, operational dumps, expired dumps, etc. Reclamation of other similar dumps can be implemented by reference. This guideline does not apply to dump sites whose geotechnical materials contain radioactive elements and rare earth elements.
