Scope
This part of GB/T 13993 specifies the structural type requirements and applicability, specifications, standard manufacturing length, optical fiber characteristics, mechanical properties, environmental performance and installation requirements of outdoor optical cables (hereinafter referred to as optical cables). This part is applicable to optical cables deployed in outdoor ducts for access networks, directly buried, underwater and non-self-supporting overhead.
