Scope: This part of GB/T 26237 specifies the exchange format of iris image data, which is mainly used in the registration, verification and identification system of iris image, a biometric feature. The iris image information can be stored in the following forms: --an array of gray values compressed according to the ISO/IEC 15444 (all parts) or ISO/IEC 15948 protocol; --according to ISO/IEC 15444 (all parts) or ISO/IEC 15948 An array composed of gray values compressed by the IEC 15948 protocol, and its contents are the following regions after clipping: the region of interest with the iris center as the center of the array obtained after clipping, the region of interest with a non-iris region mask, Binocular iris region, binocular cropped iris region, or binocular iris region of interest with non-iris region mask. This section does not include: --requirements for camera optical specifications; --requirements for iris image photometric characteristics; --requirements for registration process, workflow and use of iris devices.
