Scope: This document describes: — usage of biometric data records; — processing levels and types of biometric data structures; — naming conventions for biometric data structures; — encoding schemes for format types. This document also describes the concept, types of testing and compliance testing methods for testing biometric data exchange records or computer algorithms for creating biometric data exchange records. This document defines two types (Type A, namely the biometric data exchange record and the system that generates this record; Type B, the system that uses the biometric data exchange record) and three levels of conformity testing (Level 1 , check the internal content of each field; Level 2, check the internal consistency of the entire record;
