Scope
This standard gives the damage description and damage mechanism, damage form, affected materials, main influencing factors, prone devices or equipment, main preventive measures, detection or monitoring methods, related or accompanying other injuries etc. This standard applies to damage pattern recognition of pressure equipment. This standard does not apply to seal failures of pressure equipment, failures of safety interlock devices, and failures of pressure relief devices.
