- Scope
- 1.1 This part specifies the basic requirements and implementation procedures for the risk-based inspection (hereinafter referred to as RBI) project of the pressure equipment system. 1.2 The basic requirements and main procedures stipulated in this part are applicable to RBI projects implemented by pressure equipment systems of petrochemical plants, and RBI projects implemented by other industrial pressure equipment systems can also be used as a reference. 1.3 The basic requirements and main procedures given in this part are applicable to the RBI project implemented by the following equipment and related parts in the pressure equipment system: a) pressure vessels and all pressure-bearing parts; b) pressure in the boundary area of process equipment Pipelines and all pressure-bearing fittings; c) Atmospheric storage tanks; d) Shells with internal pressure in dynamic equipment; e) Pressure-bearing parts in boilers and heating furnaces; f) Safety relief devices such as safety valves. 1.4 The basic requirements and main procedures given in this part are not applicable to the RBI projects implemented by the following equipment in the pressure equipment system: a) instrumentation and control equipment; b) electrical equipment; c) buildings and structures; d) pumps and compressors Mechanical parts other than the pump casing and compressor casing.
