Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, symbols and abbreviations, materials and structures, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of monolithic cast nylon-steel composite pipes and fittings. This standard is applicable to single cast nylon-steel composite pipes and fittings for water supply and drainage projects where the pipeline working pressure is not greater than 2.5 MPa and the working temperature is not greater than 80°C.
