Scope

This specification applies to the external corrosion protection of chemical equipment, pipelines and steel structures made of carbon steel, cast iron, low alloy steel and stainless steel. The environmental conditions to which this specification applies include industrial atmosphere (collectively referred to as the atmosphere), liquid media, soil, etc. The anti-corrosion methods used in this specification include non-metallic coatings, coating layers and cladding layers, excluding anti-corrosion methods such as metal spraying, metal plating and electrochemical protection.
