- This standard specifies a test method for evaluating the degree of peeling of the paint film from the substrate when the paint film is drawn through the paint film to the substrate using a pattern of overlapping circular lines. This standard is applicable to the determination of the circle test of a single flat paint film on a hard substrate. The performance measured by this empirical test method depends on various factors in addition to the adhesion of the coating to the substrate, and therefore this test method cannot be considered a method of determining adhesion. .
