Scope
This part of GB/T 29853 specifies the procedures to be followed when establishing, maintaining and publishing a registry containing unique, unambiguous and permanent identifiers and and the meaning of script components. To achieve this purpose, the information elements specified in this standard are necessary to provide the identification and meaning of registered items, as well as to manage the registration of these items. This part applies to the procedures for qualified JTC1 registration authorities appointed by the ISO and IEC councils to maintain a registry of open electronic data interchange scripts and/or script components for reuse.
