Scope
Integrated Business Operational View (BOV) This part specifies that information sent from a script by an open electronic data interchange participant, which complies with the open electronic data interchange standard, shall allow reference to the script in the context of the script without passing agreement to receive and process such information by one or more open electronic data interchange parties. However, in any open EDI transaction, legal requirements and/or obligations arising from organizational commitments may be regulated by the applicable legal environment or by the formation of legal exchange agreements between participating organizations. Open EDI parties need to comply with rules-based behaviors and processes, and have the ability to make commitments in open EDI [e.g., business, operational, technical, legal and/or audit perspectives]. This standard related to the BOV deals with the basic requirements of the commercial and legal framework and its business transaction environment, and also integrates the requirements of the information technology and telecommunications environment. This section applies to "portability" and "interoperability" strategic direction, also supports the additional strategic direction of ISO/IEC JTC1 "cultural adaptability". The BOV standard also supports requirements from public policy and customer environments, intersectoral requirements and the need to address industry issues. 7) This BOV standard unifies these different sets of requirements into one. See Figure 3. This section allows for a variety of constraints - including legal requirements, commercial and (or) international trade contract terms, public policy (such as confidentiality and data protection, product or service labeling, customer protection), laws and regulations - to carry out Define and explicitly integrate into open electronic data interchange through business operations views. This means that the terms and definitions in this standard are used as a common bridge between different sets of business operation requirements, that is, to allow the various code sets and rules that define these requirements to be electronically integrated into business processes. This section contains methodologies and tools for specifying common business practices as parts of common business transactions in the form of scripts, script attributes, roles, information bundles and semantic components. to achieve this
