This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation requirements for optical sending components for optical fiber analog transmission. This standard applies to optical transmitting components for optical fiber analog transmission using semiconductor lasers as the light source (hereinafter referred to as "optical transmitting components"). Optical transmitting components for optical fiber analog transmission using light-emitting diodes as the light source can also be implemented by reference.
