Scope

This standard specifies the structural forms, technical requirements, materials, test methods and inspections of steel gate valves, globe valves (including throttle valves) and check valves (hereinafter referred to as "valve") with nominal sizes not greater than DN100 for the oil and gas industry. Rules, signs, packaging and storage and transportation requirements. This standard is applicable to flange end valves with nominal pressure PN20, PN50, PN100, PN250 and nominal size DN8~DN100. This standard is applicable to valves with socket welding or threaded ends with nominal pressure PN140, PN250 and nominal size DN8~DN65. This standard is applicable to valves with butt welding ends of nominal pressure PN20～PN250 and nominal size DN8～DN100. This standard applies to gate valves and globe valves with bellows stem seal structure.
