Scope

This part of GB/T 18858 specifies the technical requirements for an interface system between single or multiple controllers and control loop equipment or switching elements. This standard applies to two pairs of twisted shielded wires used in the same cable by the interface system - one pair of wires provides a differential communication medium, and the other pair of wires provides equipment power. The purpose of this part is to establish a computational requirement that enables devices with this interface to interoperate. This part specifies the following specific requirements for DeviceNet: - interface requirements between the controller and switching elements; - normal operating conditions of the equipment; - structure and performance requirements. - Tests to verify conformance requirements. These specific requirements are added to GB/T 18858.1.
