Scope

This part of GB/T 18858 specifies an interface system that provides bit-level and word-level communication between controllers and control loop devices, such as sensors, actuators, and switching elements. The interface system uses round or flat cables, which contain a pair of signal conductors, and an optional pair of power conductors. This part specifies the following specific requirements for CompoNet: -- interface requirements between controller and control loop equipment; -- normal operating conditions of equipment; -- structure and performance requirements; -- conformance certification test requirements. This section is applicable to formulate a technical requirement that enables devices with this interface to be interchangeable. These specific requirements are in addition to the general requirements of IEC 62026-1.
