Scope: GB/T 19659 (ISO 15745) defines an application integration framework - a set of elements and rules describing integration models and application interoperability specifications. This part (Part 1) of GB/T 19659 (ISO 15745) defines generic elements and rules for describing integration models and application interoperability profiles and their component profiles - process profiles, information exchange profiles and resource specifications. This standard applies to industrial automation applications, such as: discrete manufacturing, process automation, electronic assembly, semiconductor manufacturing and large-scale logistics processing systems. Also applicable to other automatic control fields, such as: utility automation, agricultural automation, non-road vehicles, medical and laboratory automation and public transportation systems.
