Scope
This standard specifies the design, installation, maintenance, and renovation projects of thermal power plants and their supporting processing and manufacturing of boilers, pressure vessels, pressure pipes, steel structures, and the welding work of welding non-pressure components on pressure components, as well as the main and auxiliary work. Technical requirements for welding repair work of machine parts. This standard applies to electrode arc welding (SMAW), tungsten arc welding (TIG), melting electrode (solid and flux cored wire) gas shielded welding (GMAW, FCAW), gas welding (OFW), submerged arc welding (SAW) and other welding methods. This standard also applies to the welding of non-pressure structures, seals and general support structures.
