Scope

This document stipulates the scope and requirements of metal supervision in thermal power plants, inspection items, content and criteria. Technical supervision of metals in other types of power plants can be implemented with reference to this document. This document is applicable to the supervision of the following metal components: a) Carbon steel with an operating temperature higher than or equal to 400°C and alloy steel pressure-bearing parts with an operating temperature higher than or equal to 450°C (including main steam pipes, reheat hot section steam pipes, and superheater pipes) , reheater pipes, headers, tees, steam guide pipes and connecting pipes), as well as the primary valve front connection connected to the pipes and headers. b) Steam-water separators and water storage tanks of drums and once-through boilers with working pressures higher than or equal to 3.8 MPa. c) Other pressure-bearing components with working pressures higher than or equal to 5.9 MPa (including water wall pipes, economizer pipes, headers, desuperheating water pipes, drain pipes, main water supply pipes, steam-water connecting pipes and waste heat boiler evaporation sections, etc.). d) Steam turbine shaft, impeller, blades, tie bars, bearing bushes and generator shaft, retaining ring, fan blades and bearing bushes. e) Bolts with operating temperatures higher than or equal to 400°C. f) Cylinders, steam chambers, main valves, regulating valves, nozzles, partitions, partition sleeves and valve housings with operating temperatures higher than or equal to 400°C. g) Reheat and cold section steam pipelines with longitudinal welds for units of 300 MW and above. h) The main load-bearing steel structure of the boiler body. i) Support and hanger.
