Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings and instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of miniature self-supporting outdoor optical cables for communications. This standard is applicable to self-supporting outdoor optical cables with a span of no more than 100m in the entrance section of the access network, the cable core is composed of small-sized loose tubes or other small-sized cable core units, and there is no metal moisture barrier in the sheath.
