Scope: This part of YY/T 0084 specifies the strength calculation and related provisions of the main pressure components of jacketed rectangular pressure steam sterilizers. For matters not specified in this part, they shall be stipulated by the corresponding standards. This section applies to downward exhaust or pre-vacuum pressure steam sterilizers with a design pressure not greater than 0.4MPa, a sterilization chamber volume not greater than 6m, and a sterilization chamber cross-sectional area not greater than 1.2m.
