Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, instructions for use and packaging, transportation, storage and supply of spring-loaded safety valves for pressure steam sterilization equipment. This standard applies to spring full-open safety valves (hereinafter referred to as "safety valves") for pressure steam sterilization equipment with a set pressure not greater than 0.4 MPa and a nominal diameter greater than or equal to 8 mm. This safety valve is used for pressure steam sterilization equipment with a design pressure not greater than 0. 4 MPa and a sterilization temperature within the range of 115°C to 150°C.
