Scope

This standard specifies the strength calculation method and relevant regulations for the main pressure (force) components of jacketed rectangular pressure steam sterilizers. The parts not specified in this standard shall be specified by the corresponding standards. This standard applies to sterilizers with a design pressure not greater than 0.4MPa (4.1kgf/cm^(2)) and a sterilization chamber volume not greater than 6m^(3).
