- This part of GB/T 2820 specifies the requirements for control and switchgear for generating sets driven by reciprocating internal combustion (RIC) engines. This standard applies to land and marine alternating current (ac) generator sets driven by reciprocating internal combustion (RIC) engines. It does not apply to generator sets for aviation or for driving land vehicles and locomotives.
