- This standard applies to generating sets driven by reciprocating internal combustion engines for emergency power supply to safety devices. For example, safety devices in hospitals, high-rise buildings, and public gathering places. This part specifies the special requirements for the performance, design and maintainability of generator sets used in the above places, and also considers the relevant provisions of GB/T 2820.1~2820.6 and GB/T 2820.10.
