This chapter of GB 4706.1-2005 is replaced with the following: This part of GB 4706 concerns the safety of commercial electric dishwashers not intended for domestic use. Such utensils are used for washing dishes, glass ceramics, cutlery such as cutlery and similar items, with or without water heating or drying devices. The rated voltage of single-phase appliances connected with a skipped phase line and neutral wire shall not exceed 250V, and that of other appliances shall not exceed 480V. Requirements for preventing non-potable water from entering the water source through back siphonage are specified in Annex CC; the electrical parts of appliances using other forms of energy are also within the scope of this standard. This section deals with common hazards posed by such appliances.
