This standard deals with the safety of electric dishwashers not intended for domestic use. Such utensils are used for washing dishes, glass ceramic ware, cutlery such as cutlery and similar items, with or without water heating or drying devices. The rated voltage shall not exceed 250V for single-phase appliances connected to one phase and neutral, and not more than 480V for other appliances. This standard does not apply to: - appliances designed for industrial use, such as those used in the food industry for cleaning final product packaging containers (for example, bottle washing machines) and machines used in the production process; - do not constitute a functional unit dishwashers, for example, whose conveyors transfer dishes from one independent unit to another; - individually driven conveyor mechanisms not incorporated in the appliance; - intended for use in places where special conditions frequently occur Appliances, such as the presence of corrosive or explosive atmospheres (dust, steam or flammable gases), etc.
