Scope: This standard specifies the working methods, technical requirements, insulation tools, insulation protection equipment, insulation shielding equipment, operating essentials and safety measures for live work on 10kV voltage distribution lines. This standard applies to live overhaul and maintenance operations of 10kV voltage distribution lines. The live work of 3kV and 6kV lines can refer to this standard. In view of the various types of electrical equipment in various places, the large differences in the arrangement of equipment on poles, and the variety of operating items, this standard only provides principle guidance on operating items and operating methods.
