- Scope
- This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of iron and copper threaded gate valves, globe valves, ball valves and check valves. This standard applies to: threaded gate valves, globe valves, ball valves, check valves (hereinafter referred to as valves). Valves made of gray cast iron and malleable cast iron with nominal pressure not greater than PN16 and nominal size not greater than DN100. Valves made of ductile iron with nominal pressure not greater than PN25 and nominal size not greater than DN100. Copper alloy valves with nominal pressure not higher than PN40 and working temperature not higher than 180 ℃. The working medium is water, non-corrosive liquid, air, saturated steam, etc.
