- Scope
- This standard specifies the equipment, process materials, heat treatment process and technical requirements, quality control and inspection, energy consumption, safety and sanitation and requirements for metal materials heat treatment in a vacuum state. This standard applies to vacuum heat treatment of structural steel, tool steel, abrasive steel, stainless steel, heat-resistant steel, titanium alloy, superalloy, refractory metal alloy, precision alloy and other metal materials, including vacuum heating and quenching, vacuum tempering, vacuum Annealing, vacuum solution treatment, vacuum aging and other processes. This standard does not apply to processes such as vacuum carburizing or vacuum nitriding.
