This standard specifies the general safety requirements, inspection rules and test methods for resistance welding machines. This standard applies to welding machines and resistance welding machine controllers (hereinafter referred to as controllers) used in resistance welding machines and similar processes (hereinafter referred to as controllers) for power supply or driven by mechanical equipment not exceeding the voltage specified in Table 1 of GB/T 156 standard, including individual and Welders for multi-station use. The controller and the resistance welding machine can be integrated or separated into separate devices, but no matter which structure is adopted, this standard is applicable.
