GB/T 18380.33-2008 Tests on electric an optical fibre cables under fire conditions.Part 33:Test for vertical flame spread of vertically-mounted bunched wires or cables.Category A (English Version)
Parts 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, and 36 of GB/T 18380 specify a test method for evaluating the ability of vertically installed bundled wires and cables or optical cables to inhibit the vertical spread of flame under specified conditions. This part of GB/T 18380 applies to category A, the cables are installed on the test steel ladder so that the total volume of the sample contains 7L/m of non-metallic materials. The fire supply time is 40min. Cables are installed in front of the steel ladder. Cables with a conductor cross section greater than 35mm2 use standard steel ladders or wide steel ladders according to the number of cable sample sections. Cables with a conductor cross section of 35mm2 use standard steel ladders. Class A is used to evaluate the occasions with high volume content of non-metallic materials. Recommended performance requirements are given in Appendix B.
