GB/T 18380.13-2022 Tests on electric and optical fibre cables under fire conditions—Part 13:Test for vertical flame propagation for a single insulated wire or cable—Procedure for determination of flaming droplets/particles (English Version)
Particle test This document describes the drip (object) method for evaluating the combustion of a single insulated wire or cable under specified flame conditions. Note: If necessary, the test of this document and the test of GB/T 18380.12 are carried out at the same time. Appendix A gives recommended performance requirements. This document specifies the conventional usage of 1kW pre-mixed flame, which is not suitable for testing small-sized single wires and cables with a total cross-sectional area less than 0.5 mm2, because its conductors will be melted before the end of the test, nor is it suitable for thin optical cables, because The fiber optic cable will break before the end of the test.
