Scope: This part specifies the special requirements for personal and device safety for electric heating devices with explosive atmospheres. This section applies to electric heating devices with explosive atmospheres, such as drying ovens and other similar products for workpieces soaked in flammable solutions or painted and then dried and cured. This section does not apply to protective atmosphere or electric heating device to control the atmosphere. This section should be used in conjunction with GB 5959.1.
