GB 5959.11-2000 Safety in electroheat installations. Part 11: Particular requirements for installations for electromagnetic stirring, transport or pouring of metal liquids (English Version)
This standard applies to: - low-frequency electromagnetic (induction) stirring or conveying equipment for liquid metals; - equipment that affects the casting process with a point magnetic field; - components that are directly affected by electromagnetic stirring, conveying or casting equipment. Application examples: - Electromagnetic stirring devices for continuous casting machines, which are adjacent to electric arc furnaces, ladle furnaces, etc., or as part of them; Null and inject. - Quantitative delivery devices for liquid metal, for example for the injection of injection molding machines; - The use of electromagnetic fields during continuous injection to influence the surface of the strand or the casting flow to intensify the crystallization process. This standard should be used in conjunction with GB 5959.1-1986.
